The Alpine Baghorn is a domesticated creature specifically bred to thrive in the frigid climate of the Northlands. Wild Baghorns can be found grazing in small herds on the tundra’s frosted vegetation. Once domesticated, these beasts of burden are the perfect choice to carry a merchant’s wares through the drifting snow and perilous squalls that frequent the mountain passes. Their thick, animated, and unusually long tails are highly prized by smugglers, and any who seek to travel with discretion, for they naturally sweep the ground in their wake, wiping away their tracks and hiding any signs of their passage. Baghorns are well suited for caravaners braving the bitter cold to stock the Northland warehouses with enough supplies for the local populace to survive the cold season due to their strong, reliable, and sure-footedness.[2]
