There's ways that you can specialize this that turn it into the 'execute' that it was born as originally. It does pretty high damage, but if you spec it appropriately it does bonus damage when the target's below 50% health; and if the target is marked it has 50% reduced cooldown I believe with the spec that you have.[1] – Brian Ferguson
